Having a winning streak is a new experience.
This is what the Lyceum Junior Pirates are enjoying these days.
(Coach LA Mumar calls out a play).
They are on a five-game winning streak (it stretched to six last Sept. 4 when they won over the Letran Squires, 91-83).

(Scoring ace Generoso Cecilio(17)).

(Lee Ian Salazar(14) with the ball).
He led with 35 points to help carry the Junior Pirates to their eighth triumph in 11 outings.
Coach LA Mumar is happy about the latest outcome of their games in the start of the second round.
(Big man Chester Jungco(13)).
And this included a 78-49 swamping of the San Sebastian Staglets last Friday, Aug. 28.
“I think the confidence of the kids are high,” said LA after that game.
(Vincent Cunanan (18)).
When the Junior Pirates got past the Staglets, it was Leeian Salazar who shined with 27 points, with Vincent Cunanan contributing 11.
“We wanted to start the second round with a bang, and the boys responded,” added Mumar.
