The Far Eastern University Baby Tamaraws is a very young team.
Two newcomers made a splash in Day 3 of the 78th University Athletic Association of the Philippines Junior Basketball wars last Nov. 21, 2015.
Kenji Roman and LJ Gonzales took charge for the Baby Tamaraws that afternoon.

The 6’0 Roman lorded it over with 20 points and eight rebounds for the Baby Tamaraws, who went on to pummel the University of the East Junior Warriors, 81-66, at the Blue Eagle gym in Katipunan, Quezon City.
Gonzales tallied 15 points and five rebounds in the Baby Tams’ effort to post their second win in three games.
The Baby Tams, under new coach Allan Albano, broke free from a 3-all deadlock following defensive rebound play from Roman.

Gonzales then struck hard thrice, before assisting Kenji for a layup during a furious 8-0 run.
This saw the Baby Tams taking an 11-3 advantage in the last 5:26.
A triple from Eric Jabel with 2:49 to go widened FEU’s lead by 10, 18-8.

The Baby Tams were not through in getting their advantage up.
A three-point from Jack Gloria followed by another drive from Daniel Celzo saw FEU moving away by 13, 22-9.
It was a big lead which they maintained till the end of the period.

Later, Jj Sapinit, who turned in 14 points, took charge for FEU.
His basket with 4:08 left handed FEU a 16-point spread, 36-20.
A pair of attack from Roman, who had six points in the second canto, out the Baby Tams up by 20, 40-20, in the remaining 2:49.

The Junior Warriors, starring Jethro Publico with 16 points, still managed to cut FEU’s lead to 15 at halftime, 40-25.
With 5:31 left in the third, FEU’s lead jumped to 16, behind Gonzales’ split, 51-35.
In the final period, FEU got their biggest edge at 23, off Sapinit’s three-point play after he was fouled by Genesis Vinte, 62-39.
